About

Josie Ng is a Photographer based in London.

Whilst working as an Art Director, Josie has continued to develop her own personal photography practice throughout the years. Whether working on editorials, portraiture or social documentary projects her work aims to capture the emotional connection within often fleeting moments.

Josie’s inquisitive nature leads her to create personal and editorial projects that delve into the aspects of human relationships within communities. This is exemplified in her ongoing documentary work, exploring community fairs such as Twinsburg, the largest gathering of identical twins, and horse fairs where traveler communities converge.

Self-taught, Josie prefers to work with natural or available light and on film, favouring an unobtrusive approach which allows her to explore the connection between herself and subject, balancing the sense of the unknown with intimacy and curiosity. As such there is a certain honesty within her work.
